Why don't we try?

I started in automotive, 7 years. Continued in energy, 16 years. When you stay in the same job for too long, you even forget your own question.

The other day I thought. Actually maybe this thought started 3 years ago. The problems I solved while doing my job started to repeat at some point. I wanted new questions but was sitting at the same table.

You know how it is, you say "I'll do it". "I'll start this summer". One summer passes. Second. Third.

One day I asked myself: why don't we try?

I found the answer but didn't like it. If you don't try, you don't answer a question you don't know. You're comfortable. But you don't learn.

This site is here for that.

What will I do here? I don't know exactly. I'll write — a bit of software, a bit of energy, a bit of BIST. One month I'll say one thing, three months later I might say the opposite. That's how it'll be.

I'll also build tools for life. I already started, one is running.

Who am I writing for? First for myself. Then, for people who wrestle with similar questions. For Serkan two years from now. Maybe for a friend. Maybe for someone I don't know.

I don't claim to give definitive answers. If I can ask good questions, that's enough.
